87: blue dip dye and Bleach London's 'Washed Up Mermaid'review

Hey guys~ how are we all?
A while ago I decided to finally change my hair colour again~ with blue dip dye ^^
Here's a couple of pictures of the 'after'

I was super pleased with the result ^^ dip dye is really easy and fun to do ^^

Also, I thought I'd do a mini review on the dye I used: Bleach London's 'washed up mermaid'

It was £5 and I used about 1/3 of the bottle to do this dip dye
Colour: the colour is so lovely, I got tonnes of compliments~
Longevity: It says on the bottle that it lasts 2-10 washes, but in contrast to Rosé, (the pink shade also from Bleach London) which washed out mega quickly, this dye was so hard to shift and properly stained the ends of my hair light blue. I had to bleach it and it still wouldn't come off very well, it looked a kind of pastel- mint.
This is probably because the ends of my hair are pretty damaged, but it's definitely something to watch out for. I'm not too pleased seeing as I went with Bleach London specifically because I wanted a temporary change ^^;;
Although I thought the mint-like colour was quite cute, I'm really glad I didn't do my whole hair blue as I'd originally planned
Overall: the colour was lovely, but I'm not sure whether I want to use up the rest of the bottle or not, given how much of a pain it was to get out of my hair.
Also, a cheaper option would probably be to use a darker dye and dilute it with conditioner.

Moaning aside, it was really fun having blue ends ^^ what do you guys think? Have any summer hair-dying adventures planned?

Thanks for reading!  ☆〜(ゝ。∂)
