Empties #7// Lush, Crazy Color, Lee Stafford, Etude House etc.

Empties #7// Lush, Crazy Color, Lee Stafford, Etude House etc.
I'm still trying to use up and slim down my beauty products, and this is the latest batch of empties. A lot of the products this month were things I really love and old faithfuls that I buy time after time, and there were a couple of little treats as well.

Soap and Glory Supercat liner// I bought this because I'd heard loads of good things about it, but it could't live up to my fave Dolly Wink one. I'm not used to felt pen liners anymore- I've been using brush pen ones for a while, and I can't get a thin flick with this one and it smudges on my eyelids too. I've seen a lot of people raving about this though, so I think it really depends on how you use it. I;m gonna stick to Dolly Wink for now though.

Lush charity pot// I picked up this as a little treat (along with a few other things- whoops) in my Leeds haul a couple of months ago, and after finishing a couple of other moisturisers I finally got round to using this. It's really nice- smells great, makes my skin really soft and is rich enough for me to use it as a hand cream as well at the moment (in winter my hands get pretty intensely scaly so I have to use stuff like E45). Plus this little pot was only £3.50 so it's a perfect thing to get if you're looking to treat yourself. All the price except taxes go to charity too. It made it into my most recent favourites post, and I'm definitely going to pick up another Lush body lotion soon.

Simple clear skin oil balancing moisturiser// This moisturiser is definitely my go-to. It's lighter than the regular simple moisturiser, and I prefer it on my pretty oily face- it sinks in quickly and doesn't leave any residue. Plus it's pretty affordable. I am trying to shop around and see if I can find a more intense moisturiser I like better, but I keep coming back to this. I'll probably cut the top off this so I can try and scrape the last little bit out.

Arm & Hammer whitening toothpaste// I won't include this every empties post (because I get through these fairly regularly and toothpaste isn't the most fun thing to write about) but this toothpaste is the best whitening toothpaste I've found so far and it's fairly cheap. I drink so much tea and coffee that a whitening toothpaste like this is essential for avoiding stained teeth.

Crazy Color Lavender// I won't write too much about this here, because I have a full review of this up on the blog. But I have mixed feelings on this. The colour was absolutely gorgeous, but it washes out really quickly and it went very pink on my roots after I'd bleached them. Crazy Color Lavender: Review and before and after

Makki professional colouring mask in grey// This is my favourite grey hair dye out of all the ones I tried, and although it lasted me a long time, I finally used up one of the tubes. I've done a full review post on this too if you're interested: The best grey hair dye?! Makki professional colouring mask in grey review and before and after.
empties
Etude house pomegranate smooth and energising mask// I didn't take a picture of the empty pack, but I picked up a pack of 10 of these in duty free on the way home from Japan last year, and I've been kind of rationing them but all good things come to an end. I like these, but I think I slightly prefer the hadabisei uruoi shintou mask.

Tresemmé damage repair shampoo and conditioner// I've blogged about these before, the Tresemmé shampoo and conditioners are so cheap (especially on sale) and they are my go-to everyday shampoo. The conditioner is moisturising, cheap and white, so perfect for diluting hair dye for a pastel look. I don't get through the shampoo as quickly- I am more likely to use silver shampoo at the moment, but it is a good basic shampoo to have on hand for when I have warm coloured hair that isn't silver.
empties
Victoria's secret honeysuckle and jasmine hydrating body lotion// this smells amazing, sinks in quickly and was overall just a nice cream to use. I don't go in VS that often and honestly their body lotions are quite expensive (luckily I got this as a gift!) so I don't think I'd repurchase it for me, but I'd definitely buy it in the sale or if I was looking for a nice present for someone else.

Lee Stafford hair mask for hair that doesn't grow past a certain length// I'm not sure if it actually did make my hair grow faster (my hair is dead damaged and grows slowly) but this was a decent hair mask- it made my hair feel nice and soft and it smells really nice. It's pretty affordable so I wouldn't rule out getting this again, but it's not as rich as other masks I've tried like Toni & Guy or the Bleach London resurrection mask.

Lush plum rain shower gel// Lush shower gels are a bit of a splurge, but this one did last me a good couple of months. I like it way more than I thought I would, and I'd definitely get this again, it's such an unusual but gorgeous scent. It smells like umeboshi mixed with gummy sweets, which is surprisingly amazing.

How are you guys feeling about these empties posts? Do you like seeing them little and often or do you prefer more products in it?
