Hey gang! Long time no dig, how are we all? I'm going to do a catch-up post soon, but for now, while I've was on my little blogging break (writing my dissertation, eek) I've managed to accumulate tonnes of empty bottles! So, it's empties time yet again:
Pro-oxide 9% 30 vol creme peroxide// I've had this developer for a while, and I've finally finished the bottle- I replaced it with a Schwarzkopf one which I've had my eye on for a while, but honestly this one was much cheaper and seemed to do just as good a job.
Tresémme luxurious moisture conditioner// This conditioner is something I always keep on hand- it makes my hair smooth so I do use it for a conditioner sometimes, but mostly I use it to dilute hair dyes for a more pastel look (and yeah, I cut it open to get the last dregs of conditioner out again).
Bleach London Reincarnation Mask// This is my third tube, and Bleach's reincarnation mask is one of my favourite hair masks along with the Toni and Guy one, which I also use a tonne. Bleach's Reincarnation mask lasts ages- you only need a teeny bit each time so it's great value for money. Also, that packaging tho.
Revlon Photoready Powder in 010 fair// This powder was sooo nice- made my skin look matte but a little glowy. However, it's about £11, so nearly three times the price of my usual Rimmel Stay Matte, so it was definitely a splurge purchase and not something I can afford on the regular.
Cath Kidston Flora Geranium body cream// Love the geranium scent of this, and it was a light body lotion perfect for spring/summer.
L'Oreal Colorista washout in Lilac// I won't repurchase this, it stained my hair like crazy. See my review posts for more info: L'Oreal Colorista washout in lilac review
Crazy Color Lavender// I really liked this hair dye, although it's not that pigmented. Check out my review: Crazy color lavender review and before and after
and my youtube video: How to dye your hair lavender
Bleach London Alex-Plex// I've wanted to get my hands on this for aages, and when it arrived in Bleach London's Easter bundle (which I bought for my bday because treat yo self) I was really excited! I used it this time when I bleached my roots, and my hair is so soft. So it's something I might pick up again next time I do my roots.
Bleach London Old Blue Last// This also came in the Easter bundle, which was amazing because this protein treatment is expensive at £6 for 10ml. It is nice though, and I used it on my hair the other day. (Side note, if you do see Bleach London do a haircare bundle, get it- the one I bought had £35 worth of product for £24 <3)
Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara// I love Maybelline mascaras, and this one didn't let me down! I think I prefer the good old colossal lash, although this one did give my lashes crazy volume too.
Dolly Wink Liquid liner// Japanese brush pen liners are the best- so easy to draw with and even though it's imported, it's still cheaper than high end UK equivalents like the Kat Von D one.
Simple clear skin oil balancing moisturiser// This is my favourite facial moisturiser, it's the one my skin seems to love the best and I've already repurchased it. Simple is a brand that I really trust when it comes to skincare- even though it's pretty cheap, it doesn't seem to irritate my skin at all.
Simple kind to skin soothing facial toner// Again, a cheap and effective toner which is really soothing on my skin and doesn't break me out or anything. I've lost count of how many of these I've bought over the years.
Toni & Guy damage repair mask// This is maybe my third or fourth tub I've gone through- this mask makes my hair super smooth, smells nice and is often on offer for only about £4, score. I've already bought another of these.
Neals Yard beautiful skin tea// I got this as a present (so kind!!). My skin was really nice while I was drinking this, whether due to this tea I can't say, but it was really nice tasting and has tonnes of good antioxidants and stuff, so it's definitely something I'd buy again. I think it was an amazing gift, too.
Vaseline Intensive care essential healing lotion// not the most glam, or expensive- smelling, but this heavy duty body cream was perfect for winter. It just works and it wasn't too expensive so it's definitely something I'd pick up again.
That's it for now, I'm off to go recycle all of these empty bottles!
Thanks for reading!
