I got a hair cut (!!!!!!!)

Gang,
it's been about 5 years since I last got a proper, professional haircut. I've been doing it myself, just snipping the split ends and my fringe, and it's mostly been going fine.
But, when Rachael at Sassoon Salon in Leeds asked me if I'd like to be a hair model, I decided to take the plunge. I had a few different choppy layers in my hair for the longest time, so I thought I'd get it a bit shorter so it can grow out healthier and a bit thicker hopefully.

But so far, I'm pretty pleased! I like styling it with a couple of loose waves and a bit of texture.

Is it less high maintenance? So far, well, no. My hair was pretty thin before so washing and drying seems to take roughly the same amount of time, and I still do need to style it with heat, so so far, nothing much has changed.

I did have the classic 'hairdresser experience' where it went a biit shorter than I expected, and when it had just been cut and was styled very straight it almost looked like a wig on me because I was sooo not used to it, but I'm used to it now and I'm pretty into it.

Definitely will try and grow it a bit longer tho.
What do you guys think?

(also, sneak peek into the plant cave! I really love my room this year and will definitely be doing a proper room tour before I move out.)
