So it's been a few months since I moved back to the UK and I've still not really posted that much about Shizuoka- while I was there I was working a lot and v tired, but I did manage to take some nice shots so I wanted to share them here. These ones are all ones I took on my DSLR, but I have some film ones and some I snapped on my phone which I'll share later <3
Really yummy Yakitori I had on NYE//
Shizuoka city after dark//
I wandered round Chanomachi with my friend Micky- one day I'd like to write a bit more about this part of Shizuoka because it's super charming//
Kojima tea- we got some proper Shizuoka green tea and the owner was soo lovely <3//
Shizuoka tea market where they sell tea wholesale. It was closed when we went but that architecture//
Chamachi Kinzaburo- it's a little out of the way but I'd definitely recommend here if you visit Shizuoka!//
Masudaya- a traditional Wagashi Japanese sweet maker//
Hug coffee, one of my favourite spots in Shizuoka//
We got matcha ice cream in nanaya which was FIT
Downtown Shizuoka after dark//
That's it for now, stay tuned for more bc I'm finally going through and sorting out my photos!

Shizuoka City, Japan Travel Guide// Snapshots from Shizuoka city part 1 New Years Eve, Sengen Jinja and Mount Fuji// Room tour of my Shizuoka Apartment and my tips for renting in Japan//
I love seeing these little snapshots because it shows the side to Japan that no one really sees and makes everything seem more "real"!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you're enjoying them <3 Yeah I thought it would be interesting to share more from Shizuoka because it's so 'normal' (and boring haha) but definitely when you go to Japan next it might be cool to visit a smaller town/ go somewhere in the countryside because it's v different from the city!
