Bands I can't wait to see in Japan

So, as I'm sure you guys know by now (as I can't seem to shut up about it) I'm off to Osaka next year. As one of Japan's biggest cities, there will be plenty of opportunities to see some of my favourite bands (I hope) Here are a few im looking forward to seeing:

SuG
This one should be self evident. I'm a self proclaimed raving mad SuG fangirl, but I haven't ever been able to see them live, as they have only played in Germany and France so far. They have a live coming up at the end of the year, which I hope to catch! I've loved SuG since about 2012, and their upbeat 'heavy positive rock' will be amazing to hear live! I have a live DVD of one of their shows (it came free with their Thrill Ride Pirates album)

L'arc~en~ciel
I am super lucky to say that L'arc was my first ever concert! And boy, it was something special! Me and my sister caught them at indigo2 in London, and it's a waaaay smaller capacity venue than they play in Japan, where L'arc sell out huge arenas. If L'arc are doing a concert, you can be sure I'll try and bag a ticket ^^

CROSSFAITH were so awesome when I saw them live in November (LINK) and I'd love to see them again! Especially with new material from their upcoming album! Crossfaith are so energetic and exciting to see live, and are playing a venue in osaka soon after I arrive, which I will hopefully be able to catch!

VAMPS (Japan) I saw Vamps a while ago in O2 academy Islington, an 800 capacity venue which has some really good memories for me (I also saw an cafe there). Vamps were amazing! I actually cried. Sorry for being an obnoxious fangirl. I was gutted to miss them at this year's Hyper Japan festival as I didn't attend, but a consolation prize for me is that I will hopefully be able to see them soon~

If I wrote a paragraph on all the bands I wanna see, this post would get stupidly long, so I'll leave the rest in a handy list format. Of course, I'm going to try my damnedest to see other bands too, especially small indie visual kei bands that no one has ever heard of, which I think would be loads of fun! For now, here's some of the other bands/acts I'll try and catch next year:

  • GazettE
  • Maximum the Hormone
  • Coldrain
  • Polysics
  • Gotcharocka
  • Babymetal
  • Nocturnal Bloodlust
  • Screw
  • Fear, and loathing in Las Vegas
  • Royz
  • LM.c
  • Born
  • An Cafe
  • Lynch
  • Nightmare
  • Deathgaze
  • Gigamaus
  • Golden Bomber
  • Rave
  • Uchuu Sentai Noiz

  • Exist Trace
  • Asian Kung-fu Generation
  • Flow

Thanks for reading (^O^)/
