Umeda Sky Building: Osaka Skyline at Night

Guys, Guys, the other week on Friday evening, I decided I wanted to go and see the view from Umeda Sky Building. And boy was it worth the 800 yen entry fee!
We went from Toyonaka Campus of Osaka University to Umeda:

We went out the Chayamachi exit, because I'd never been there before. It has a really different vibe to the rest of Umeda! Sort of homelier? We had coco curry and also found an import shop (where I bought Nutella, whoops).

Then we walked through Umeda:

 To the Sky building!
It is two towers connected by the round "floating garden observatory"

You could buy alcohol or food or cakes, at the observatory and sit and look outside. Naturally I chose this adorable Halloween Parfait.
Also, don't forget there is an upstairs section! My friends didn't think there was an open air bit at the top of the building and almost left (!)
Although the view from inside is pretty good...
 Outside is way better!
You can see for absolutely miles!

You can see the expressway going through a building (I think that is so futuristic and cool, hehe)

Osaka Castle looks so tiny! Can you spot it?
We stayed until it closed at 10.30 pm just staring out at the view. Definitely a must, guys! So different to when I visited Tsutenkaku in the day (although that was beautiful too) I'd recommend both the Sky building and Tsutenkaku if you have time!

Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed~
