After a lot of research and dithering, I decided to go for one from Pipdig, and it's great!
I went with a premade design (called "The Grid" if you're interested) so it wasn't too expensive, at around £35. A little bit of an investment, and obviously if you can do it yourself that's great, but I am as useless as a potato when it comes to technology so this was perfect for me.
Installation was also super simple, although they can install it for you, I opted to do it myself. All you have to do is upload a file to your blog, but they provided step by step instructions along with the template download. You don't have the stress of copying and pasting chunks of code and hoping for the best.
The template I chose- The Grid- has all the features I wanted, even the Pinterest "pin it" feature on every photo, (My pinterest is amyoverkill, if you were wondering) an instagram widget you and social share buttons too.
Although I still have a bit of tinkering around to do, I'm super happy with it. I'd been wanting a sleeker look for my blog, but I still wanted a more minimal design that isn't too overstated but still stylish. I think Pipdig totally delivered on this, and I'd recommend them to anyone~
