It was pretty small, just big enough for two futons, the kitchen and the bathroom. It had a bath though! (cue a lush bath bomb)
The apartment was perfect for us, we could walk to Gion and also central Kyoto, and it wasn't too expensive.
Here's the listing on airbnb: it wasn't too pricy and was really comfy to stay in.
If you haven't tried airbnb yet, I'd definitely recommend it, although it seems like Japan might be making some rules against it soon. Hope they don't come into force while I'm still here, because airbnb is so convenient!

That place looks so cozy, I loved it. Sometimes a small space feels much nicer. I hope you had a great time there!
