Banpaku Kinen Koen Plum blossom Hanami

Tower of light Osaka
After I'd seen the plum blossoms at Osaka Castle, I wanted to see some more so me and my friend Emily went to Banpaku Kinen Kouen. The plum blossoms there were really nice, and we also explored the park a lot too! Banpaku Kinen Kouen is a huge park on the outskirts of Osaka (fairly near where I live, and right next to Lalaport Expocity mall) and it's a really nice place to go an relax. The momiji there was lovely, and the Sakura is meant to be great, plus they have loads of other seasonal flowers too. It also has some strange architecture, such as the tower of light, above. I'd totally recommend a visit if you get the chance!

How to get there

It has it's own station on Osaka monorail. If you're coming from Osaka, take the Midosuji line/ Kita Osaka Kyuukou line to Senri Chuo and it's 2 stops on the monorail from there.
