Since returning to the UK, I think I've been fairly restrained when it comes to buying clothes. I'm really trying to be more intentional when I buy things, to buy more secondhand and vintage. Everything I've bought second hand I absolutely love, plus, it's better for the environment and supporting a good cause. Also, I'm studying a lot more, so I haven't had the time or money to go clothes shopping really. Still, I did manage to pick up a few things, so here's a little mini haul and try on of the new pieces I've got in the last few months.
Public Desire Amie boots// I mentioned these in my favourites post, and I'm still in love <3 They are pretty comfy to walk in which is always a bonus especially if you're like me and not used to tall heels.
ASOS slip dress// This is the perfect slip dress, I've struggled for a while to get one that actually fit me nicely. I wore this dress (combined with my sukajan) to a couple of parties over Christmas- can't go wrong with a little black dress, right? I think this particular dress is out of stock now, but there are still plenty of similar slip dresses around. It's a little bit low cut for me, but luckily the more wearable slip dress over a t shirt or shirt trend doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
Clear rimmed round glasses// I've been after a pair of clear rimmed glasses for a while. (And yeah they are fake, sorry glasses wearers). These particular ones are pretty sturdy and were about £8, which isn't the cheapest, but it's a pretty good price.
Cord Shirt- This was a charity shop find, and an absolute bargain at £4. It's so cozy! I've been obsessing over cord shirts on depop for ages, but it just goes to show you should check charity shops first because you can save a tonne of money. I also surprisingly really like that it's in brown, which isn't usually my colour. It's XXL so it's huge on me, but not quite long enough to be a dress, so I tend to wear this with a black skirt underneath.
Checked shirt// This was a steal from @ilikeweird on depop- I got this shirt and the green paisley one for £10! What a sweetheart. Anyway, I've been basically living in this, so I'm glad to get a chance to feature in on the blog.
Green paisley shirt// This was the other shirt from @ilikeweird on depop, and I love it too~ Seriously check out her depop, guys. It's a little see through, but you can still get away with not wearing a shirt underneath I think. This is going to be sooo nice in summer!
I haven't taken outfit pictures in so long! These were some pretty old school haul pictures in my dorm room - and sorry for all the weird faces I'm pulling :') (let's just say its because I'm being edgy, k?)
So anyway, that's all the clothes I've bought recently! Which item was your favourite? Have you got your eye on any new pieces for spring?
Thanks for reading!
