My year abroad was soon coming to a close, and on the last couple of days I had in Osaka I hung out with friends and ran some errands. It was super hot, so I didn't want to go anywhere too far, I just hung out in town.
Emily and I took a last trip to Mandarake to resell some of the manga we didn't want to take home:
And then the next day we went to Minoh town hall to fill in some paperwork. I had to do some pensions forms (!!?) which no one else had to do and was a bit of a mystery. Luckily the staff at the town hall were really helpful (and I didn't end up paying into a pension). We passed all the places that we'd been right at the start of the year, including the first rice paddy I'd ever really seen:
Emotional. Then we got a meal and, of course, we hit up Karaoke too! We also decided it was a great plan to go to Umeda again to get donuts <3
I also had a couple of meals with my sweet friend Kayo- I had a v fancy unagi don and then we got sushi in town too <3.
I'm so happy I met everyone on my year abroad! It was amazing and everyone was so so kind to me <3 I hope I'll see them all again some day!
