On my last night in Japan, I was on my own so I decided to have one last walk around my favourite area of Osaka- Amemura, Dotombori and Shinsaibashi. Prepare for a post full of blurry iphone pics and a tonne of feelings....
I had almond latte and an omurice at a salaryman-oriented cafe called Deur in Shin Osaka. It was a nice place to be alone, like a coffee shop vibe. The menu told me to 'kutsurogu' (relax/feel at home) so I did :)
One of my favourite Starbucks is the one at Shin Osaka :) Instead of dwelling on how vaguely lonely/nervous about the flight home I was, I took the Midosuji line to Shinsaibashi and had a wander around Dotonbori, Amemura and Namba for a while. I definitely can never get enough of south Osaka- it's so lively! Amemura is also full of quirky shops. I went to my first SPINNS in Amemura (I'm actually going to cry omg).
I got street snapped by the staff here <3
My first (and favourite) SPINNS.
Then I headed back along shinsaibashi-suji. I also managed to get hit on... somehow it seemed like a fitting last time in Shinsaibashi :') It was so stereotypical "oneesan, hitori desu ka?"... I told him I was going to see my boyfriend. Which I was, technically. As soon as I got back home to the UK that is.
Last time at Ebisubashi! And my last time seeing Glico man :'((
My beloved WEGO :'(
After Shinsaibashi, I decided to grab a lush bath bomb and head home to get an early night.... I had to be up early to give myself enough time for catching the plane.
Bye bye Osaka! You'll always be the best city in Japan for me!! I'll be back soon, I promise!
Guys, I'm actually tearing up writing this. Every time I look at a picture of Japan I think of all the things I still want to do there.
I will be back <3 <3
Thanks for reading!
