Birthday wish list

My birthday is coming up soon, (aaaah 2018 is going soooo quickly!) and it's sufficiently after Christmas to make a wish list, so here's the things I've been coveting lately! (Also, if any friends/ family are reading, this is a v unsubtle hint)

Fizzy Blood @ Headrow House 24.02.18

So last month (how is it already a month ago?!) I went to see Fizzy Blood at Headrow house in Leeds. They're a Leeds based band and I'd liked everything I'd heard from them, so I was excited to go! I was going on my own, which was a leetle intimidating, but I'm glad I got over my nerves and went :)

Nearly two years since I left Japan// update

So it's been a minute since I came home from my year studying in Japan.... I blogged about it a lot, and it was definitely an amazing experience, although like anyone's year abroad probably, I had a lot of lonely and difficult times too. After my post on reverse culture shock last year, I thought it was about time to do an update on how things are going.

Still obsessed with this Topshop beret// OOTD

I got a couple of turtlenecks in the sale at UNIQLO the other day, and when I wore the white one I got a tonne of compliments! I feel like turtle necks immediately elevate your look. And this beret does too- such an amazing colour, and one that I don't wear a lot because I'm not sure if it actually suits me (although I am eyeing a yellow BMTH tee atm). It's especially nice in the grey British weather. Thanks, Topshop!

Recently, a few people have asked me which grey hair dye I recommend more: Bleach London's Fade to Grey or Makki's Colouring mask in grey. So, in today's post I'm going to round up the pros and cons of both, plus the Schwarzkopf Live 098 in Steel Silver, to help decide which one you should try!
